  • The ClearView Unit Dose Transport Shield (patent pending), a pioneering innovation with a unique design that integrates the ClearView Beta-Gamma Syringe Shield directly into the unit dose pig. This transport shield is specifically designed for the safe and efficient transport of unit doses of radiopharmaceuticals such as Pluvicto, Lutathera (Lu-177), Ac-225, and Cu-67, with additional isotope shields currently in development. The ClearView Unit Dose Transport Shield offers several key benefits:

    • Enhanced Quality Assurance and Validation: The shield’s transparent design allows for easy inspection and validation of contents at the production facility, ensuring quality and compliance.
    • Improved Safety and Efficiency: The design minimizes the need for manual handling at the treatment facility, reducing radiation exposure and streamlining the treatment process.
    • Optimized Workflow: By improving procedures at both the production and treatment sites, the shield enhances safety for all workers involved in the process.
    • Cost and Environmental Benefits: The innovative design reduces the shipping weight by 25%, leading to significant savings in transportation costs and a lower environmental footprint.
    • Regulatory Compliance: The shield will meet stringent regulatory standards, including those set by the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (US NRC) under Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 20, as well as the requirements under CFR Title 49 for the safe transport of hazardous materials.
  • ClearView Vial Shield
Vial Shield for upto 50 cc vials...

  • Vial infusion of radioisotopes in Theranostics requires shielding the nuclear medicine technologist administering a dose. ClearView Vial Shield can be used for Ac-225 PSMA, I-123 and I-131 mIBG therapies, Lutathera (Lu-177) therapies for Neuroendocrine Tumor Treatment, FDA approved PluvictoTM (lutetium Lu 177 vipivotide tetraxetan or 177Lu-PSMA-617) for the treatment of prostate-specific membrane antigen–positive metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (PSMA-positive mCRPC). Using lead vial shields has led to incomplete infusion of radionuclides such as Lu-177 which is used to treat Neuroendocrine Tumors and PSMA Therapies. The ClearView Vial Shield provides significant workflow and operational advantages over available products. Lead vial shields are heavy to handle, and being RoHS restricted substance requiring special handling.

The ClearView RS® Vial Shield fits vials up to 30 ml, including those supplied by AAA (manufacturing Lutathera). There have been cases where heavy and opaque lead pigs have not been the most ideal shields for Lutathera infusion. To avoid incomplete infusion and easily monitor the volume of radiopharmaceutical (here Lu177) administered, a clear shield has been developed to house a Lu-177 vial using ClearView Radiation Shielding. This product allows the nuclear medicine technologist to fully administer a dose without any being left in the vial using a significantly lighter shield providing protection for betas and gammas.

  • ClearView Radiation Shielding- Rolling Shields
Rolling shield used for protecting health care providers from patients getting theranostics treatments...

  • The ClearView Rolling Shield is a mobile rolling shield available in lead equivalency up to 1’’ Pb.Eq. and is being used in several Theranostics suites and radiotherapies such as Ac-225 PSMA, I-123 and I-131 mIBG therapies, Lutathera (Lu-177) therapies for Neuroendocrine Tumor Treatment, FDA approved PluvictoTM (lutetium Lu 177 vipivotide tetraxetan or 177Lu-PSMA-617) for the treatment of prostate-specific membrane antigen–positive metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (PSMA-positive mCRPC). Procedures such as pediatric mIBG Radiotherapy which treats Neuroblastoma (solid tumor) in young children as young as 3 years, use I131 between 250 mCi and 1200 mCi. Post procedure, the child has to remain confined in a room alone for 3 – 5 days and interaction between the child and doctors, hospital staff, family, etc. is limited to 20 to 40 minutes in a day. Having a transparent rolling shield to protect hospital staff and allow easy patient management has proven to be very helpful for many of our product users.

A ClearView Radiation Shielding window is mounted on a frame on casters to protect against betas and gammas from radioisotopes used in radiation therapy and cancer treatment. The housing for the shielding with be fabricated out of impact resistant clear polycarbonate. The frame is constructed of lightweight aluminum with powder coat paint. The frame has handles for ease move handling and moving the rolling shield. The casters rotate 360o for ease of rotation with minimum footprint. The viewing window dimensions are designed to fit the applications and requirements.

  • ClearView – Tabletop Shields / L Block
Standard L Block available in many sizes...

  • Working behind conventional L blocks with small viewing windows and lead provides minimal shielded viewing area and often leads to additional dose while working with radioisotopes. The ClearView Tabletop shield provides a large protected area while dose sampling, performing quality control handling, testing, sampling and transferring radioisotopes. Ideal for radiopharmaceuticals, nuclear medicine, etc.

The frame and work platform is constructed with powder coated aluminum. The viewing window can be adjusted at 45° and 60° angles. The housing container for the ClearView solution with be fabricated out of impact resistant clear polycarbonate.

The tabletop shields are available with and without a work platform. The dimensions and thicknesses of the tabletops can be altered to fit a smaller or larger footprint and viewing window. Additional shielding with the ClearView Bricks and ClearView Glovebox can be added to the sides of work platforms to provide a 360° protection.

  • ClearView Waste Container - Foley Bag Shield
    Shields for Foley Bag...

  • Designed to place a foley bag connected to a catheter attached to patients undergoing radiotherapy and scans using radiopharmaceuticals over performed by nuclear medicine specialists or radiologists. The see-through container reduces exposure to hospital staff as the see-through feature of ClearView allows to monitor the level of the foley bags without needing to manually handle radioactive urine. ClearView provides a significant shift from using lead-based waste containers where monitoring urine volume in the foley bag, proper functioning of the pump and inspection of leaks leads in a much higher exposure to the hospital staff. The ClearView Waste Container is being used at several hospitals for mIBG and Lutathera patients, and ideal to protect from radionuclides such as I-123, I-131, Lu-177 etc. from radiopharmaceuticals such as Lutathera, Azedra, AdreView, Megatope, HICON™, Ac225 therapies and FDA approved PluvictoTM (lutetium Lu 177 vipivotide tetraxetan or 177Lu-PSMA-617) for the treatment of prostate-specific membrane antigen–positive metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (PSMA-positive mCRPC).
